🙏 Vkrasana – Tree Pose Improves: concentration, balance, posture, and focus. Strengthens: thighs, spine, ankles, and calves. Increases: flexibility in ankles, knee, and hip joints. Tones: leg muscles Focus: thighs Prevents: groin pulls Tip: fix the eye gaze (drishti) to a point that is at least 3 ft in front of your or at eye level. Try not to hike up the shoulders. Make sure the knee is facing out towards the side instead of forward. Modify: Keep prayer hands at the chest and place your foot below the knee or even to the floor to establish more balance. Be careful of: bent standing leg, hiking up one hip, high/low blood pressure, and keeping pressure off of the knee joint. Therapeutic for: flat feet, headache, sciatica, insomnia, and an active mind.
