πŸ™ Sometimes, we cannot go outside. The weather, our schedules… Something may not permit us. It is okay. I am sure there is a window somewhere. Go to it. Look at the great outdoors. And then shut your eyes. Be still. It may feel like a moment is not enough but in reality, a moment is everything. Just yesterday, I was in dire need of a nap. Instead, I meditated. It was not long. Maybe 20 minutes, tops. But, I came back to the world with more energy than before. I was rejuvenated from spending just 20 minutes with my breath. The power behind this is like no other. If you think you are able to rejuvenate from watching television or reading or hanging out, you are right. But if you want to fully restore your energy, you need more. Which is less. Less stimulus. Less movement. Less doing, more being. So, take this moment to do that. Set a timer. Maybe it is only for two minutes. Two minutes of conscious breathing. Two minutes to give back to yourself. It may seem like nothing. So what is stopping you? πŸ™ #namaskartoyou #meditation #meditate #consciousbreathing #yoga #realyoga #pranayama #yogawithaview #views

πŸ™ When is the last time you closed your eyes and absorbed silence? We think we are relaxing when we are watching television or writing or reading. And yes, these self-care tasks are amazing. They really do help to alleviate some of the daily stresses. But, even as we are doing these tasks, the eyes are still working, the brain is still computing, our hands, muscles, nerves, and tendons are functioning… Are you telling me that you only give the entire body a break when you sleep at night??? That is not enough. The body needs more. The mind needs more. We have our whole lives ahead of us. We have to take that step to create a routine of self-care now rather than later. Life only gets busier. So, it’s best to start now. A little is better than nothing. Take that time for yourself. Rejuvenate. Restore. Recharge. Refill yourself with energy so that you can put forth your best effort without exhausting yourself along the way. Trust me, once you start, you won’t want to stop. The benefits are amazing. And, of course, your mind and your body will thank you for it πŸ™ #namaskartoyou #yogaoutdoors #greenery #earthing #grounding #yoga #meditation #lovethyself #selfcare #selflove #practice

πŸ™ At its essence, yoga is a meditation practice. Meditation means to attend to, to concentrate. How long can you attend to a task? If you notice, we have built a culture of multitasking. We think we can get more done by doing multiple things at once. But, multitasking means we have split our attention; our full focus is not there. Yoga builds your attention skills. It sharpens your ability to be in the moment. By practicing techniques to clear the mind, we bring our full attention to right now. We focus on one thing, and one thing only. This moment. Take yourself out of your daily scheduled routine. Surround yourself with nature. Envelope your senses with silence. Give yourself the peace it deserves so that it can rejuvenate and learn to be in the moment. Your mind and your body will thank you for it πŸ™ #namaskartoyou #yogaoutdoors #yoga #meditation #warrior2 #virabhadrasana

πŸ™ Just as the earth is living and breathing, so are we. We are a miniature replica of the earth. All of the elements make up our composition. There is water, fire, earth, air, and space inside us. And when we leave this planet, our body disintegrates and goes back to the elements. How can we ever feel disconnected or different from the earth? Have you seen that meme that says we need sunlight and water because we are plants with complicated feelings? It is so true. We need our sunlight. We need fresh air. We need space. We need water. We need fire. Give your body what it needs. Go outside. Be one with the earth. Your mind and body will thank you for it πŸ™ #namaskartoyou #outside #outdoors #yogaoutdoors #meditation #yoga #views #sunset

πŸ™ The yogic science is unlike anything else. It was specifically designed for achieving a balance in mental, physical, and spiritual health. In studios, you see a lot of the physical aspect. But why do we do these positions? Yoga is actually a meditation practice. A practice to build concentration. In order to be able to give something your full attention, you cannot have any distractions. Just reflect on those times when you are trying to do something. Our thoughts can distract us. Our body can distract us with physical pains and ailments. How can we have full concentration if these things are going to divide our attention? It can be difficult to pay attention if there is something else on our mind. It can be hard to be in the moment if our stomach is hurting or our shoulder is sore. That is what the physical practice is for. If we keep our bodies moving, if we activate and massage all of our muscles and organs, they will behave and perform optimally. It can be one less thing we have to worry about when we have to give our full attention to whichever task is at hand. Keep the body and the mind active. πŸ™ β€œOur body’s energy field is the foundation of everything we do. It should be strong, vibrant and supple. The five senses are the instruments through which we interact with the external world. They should be clear and sharp. The mind is home to our consciousness; it should be calm, centered and at peace. The heart is the home of our soul; it should be open and free of anger and resentment.” -Travis Eliot & Lauren Eckstrom @realtraviseliot @laureneckstrom #namaskartoyou #energy #energyhealing #reiki #pranichealing #yoga #meditation #loveyourself #soulfood

πŸ™ Have you been outside today? Can you see the eye on this tree? πŸ‘ It is staring back at me… Nature mirrors so much of our own lives. The roots and branches mirror our veins and nervous system. Do you see the similarities? We are so much more in tune with nature than we think… But, we tend to forget. We allow our lives to carry us inside… forgetting that we require adequate sunlight and fresh air for our health and wellness. Go outside today. Breathe in fresh air instead of whatever the air conditioning is pumping out. Feel the sun and the wind; feel the true weather conditions. And smile. Nature is here for you. It just requires you to take the step. Go outside today. Your body and your mind will thank you for it. πŸ™ #namaskartoyou #wellness #health #mindset #nature #tree #sunset #natureheals #soul

πŸ™ Do you empower yourself? What do you tell yourself during the day? Do you tend to put a negative spin or a positive spin on yourself? You are amazing; remember that. You can do anything you set your mind to… so set your mind to a positive mindset. Express to yourself how much abundance you have in life. Bring into existence an inner dialogue filled with all the amazing possibilities you have. Create this positive world for yourself. It starts, first, with the mind. πŸ™ #namaskartoyou #yogaoutdoors #privateyoga #meditation #positivevibes #behappy #smile #loveyourself #yoga #balance #mudra
